ሚሊዮን 2 million to support innovation in Kent gardening

Up to ,000 250,000 is now available for research and development assistance to support innovation in horticultural food and beverage businesses.

The 2 2million subsidy is being developed by Kent and Medway and offers proposals that could have a positive impact on the local economy.

Special Qualifications Businesses are determined to return social value to the region by raising awareness about social participation or career paths.

“These supports are an important part of our program to grow the region’s economy through inclusive and innovative growth. The impact of these projects will help strengthen the region’s reputation for sustainable food and beverage production.

We encourage local businesses to apply food, beverage, packaging, and agro-food technology throughout the food and beverage supply chain.

Focus on:

  • Gardening novels, including high-value compounds from plant production
  • Fresh product packaging
  • Food and drink process
  • Enable the supply chain-based technologies.

These new grants for fruit and vegetable, food production and related technology businesses will enable local people around Kent and Medway to drive sustainable economic growth and move towards a sustainable, clean zero future.

As well as financial support, businesses can get advice on innovation and development from specialists at the Innovation UK EDGE, part of the UK Research and Innovation Family.
