A planned development is needed to address future civic issues – Farouk
State Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Farouk Habib, said on Monday that the planned development is essential to address future civic issues in the country’s major cities.
He said the FDA is preparing a master plan for the new city in central Pun-Najb under a special directive by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
He said mushroom growth in urban areas has further aggravated the problem of citizens and the quality of life has deteriorated. He said the Prime Minister has set clear directions to ensure planned and strategic development of the cities so that we can provide clean, clean and trouble-free cities to future generations.
Earlier, FDA Director General Dr. Faisal Azem told the State Minister that Master Plan 2021-41 will play a key role in Pakistan’s third fiscal year.
He said the plan is designed in line with international standards, adding that all stakeholders, including member national and regional councils, are being advised to make improvements to the project.
FDA Chairman Chaudhry Lateef Nazar, Parks and Garden Development Authority (PH) Chairman Mian Waris Aziz, Labor State Parliamentary Secretary Myan Shakel Shahid, MPA Chaudhry Ali Akhtar, Mian Nabal Arshad, Sher Afgan Chema and others attended the meeting.
