The art scene is 10 years old! The event, which took place in just a few years, offers a unique opportunity for ticket holders as each ticket wins! Each ticket holder leaves the event with an art or arts service and the money is used for art programs for children.
Since 2003, the previous nine events have directly raised more than $ 75,000 in scholarships for local children to participate in works of art such as Danville Children’s Choir. Heritage environment strings program; Summer camps at West T Hill Community Theater, Danville Schools and Opening Law; Dance lessons in parks and recreation; Support for performing teams to travel; Forensic camp fees; Music lessons; Free concerts and stage productions in schools; Summer art materials; And so much more.
There are a variety of art pieces and services for local artists and artists to choose from. Donations vary according to our local art community and include art blankets, paintings, pottery, photographs, theater tickets and certificates for private concerts and landscaping.
Each ticket will be accepted by two people for the Preview Party on September 10 from 7-9 p.m., and the Dre Party on September 11 from 6:30 p.m. Both parties are located at Pioneer Playhouse, 840 Stanford Road. Light drinks are served. Changes have been made to the format over the years to ensure a safe and healthy event for customers. Masks requested.
During the preview party, ticket holders will have the opportunity to see all of the art during the call and plan their choice. Many donor artists participate in the preview party to meet with the audience and discuss their art. Art Choices is priced several times over the $ 100.00 ticket price. Many pieces of art will be auctioned off directly to ticket holders.
The art-filled issue is an unusual opportunity to start or add to your local arts collection and for the benefit of the children of the community. Many past attendees became acquainted with our artistic heritage at this event and came back again and again.
