Barnstable County Government: Cape Code Cooperative Expansion requires applicants for a major gardening program


September 9, 2021 (Barnstable, MA) Cape Code’s major gardeners’ association is currently accepting applications for the 2022 class. If you enjoy gardening and are interested in sharing your gardening knowledge, you should consider applying. Master gardeners love vegetables of all ages and have previous gardening experience. They come from all walks of life and are willing to learn about gardening and share information based on research.

The Master Gardener Program is a collaborative effort between community volunteers and the Cape Code Cooperative. This program is designed to meet the needs of fruits and vegetables by educating and delivering Barnstable County citizens. Successful applicants will be trained in Cooperative Extension. This is a long-term commitment, and applicants must be willing to give time to volunteer and training. Application deadline is October 1.
