Cold Ash Garden Culture Association hosts a successful summer show

The Cold Ash Garden Cultural Association held a nice summer show with fruits, flowers and fun berries this weekend.

It was a slightly different summer show for the community with more spring scenes.

There were traditional vegetables, fruits, flowers and photographs, but they were also part of the spring show.

Amazing Vegetables were on display at Trever Igleton, winning six cups for the flowers and the garden altogether – including some of the most spectacular giant lakes.

Mr. Eggleton won the Breeze Humble Cup, Sir Henry Barkley’s Greens 1-25, and the Atfield Cup in the Dahlia Division for most points.

He won the Dawson Cup for most points in the Flower Room, the Whose Cup for most points in the Garden Room and the Herbert Cup for most points in the show.

The best garden show in the show went to Mark Elms for Shalotu.

There were some very interesting exhibitions and a variety of handicrafts, including embroidery, repair work, carpentry, woodworking, and even a traditional leather drinking tank.

There were three new exhibitions at the show, including June Hescock, who won the Best Craft for a Tea Tree, and Anna Claude, who won an unusual garden photograph for her unusual view through some growing trees.

Miss Cload, 12, also won the Carroll Children’s Cup for best garden photography.

Laurence won the banking medal – usually awarded to someone who won a lot of points in gardening at a local show.

Other winners include Molly Davidson, who won the most points in the Flower Arts category, and Anna Claude, who won the AM Collins Cup for most points in the Photography category.

Congratulations to this year’s winners and everyone who participated.

He thanked the judges and his assistant on the day.
