District Development Commissioner Ramban Musarat Islam today chaired a District Level Technical Committee (DLTC) meeting to finalize the financial balance of agriculture, fruit and vegetable crops, livestock and other products in the district. .
Chief Planning Officer, Dr. Kasturi Lal; Chief Agriculture Officer Ashwani Kumar; DSHO, Dr. Vikas Gupta; CAHO, Dr. Kawal Singh; AD Fisheries, Fayaz Ahmed; DDM, NABARD, Arushi Sharma; Abdul Rasheed Sofi, Manager, Lead Bank; Cluster Head JK Bank, Parvez Iqbal and other departmental and bank officials attended the meeting.
During the meeting, important issues related to the completion of financial balance of various agricultural and horticultural crops were finalized by the District Kisan Credit Card (KCC) Holders Committee.
The meeting discussed debates on existing and proposed Balance of Finance (SF) for various KCC crops and partner activities. DLTC provides financial scale for agriculture and horticulture crops like cereals, vegetables, pulses, rape, mustard, potato, fodder, spices, seed farming, floriculture, goat, sheep, poultry, fisheries etc.
On the occasion, various types of products were widely discussed to increase the income of youths and farmers who have economic potential.
Meanwhile, the DDC has urged the line department officers and bankers to ensure high accuracy in preparing the financial sector-wise balance so that the farmers can be properly facilitated.
He focused on supporting beekeeping, mushrooms, vegetables, fruits, dairy farming and sheep farming to increase the additional farm income of the farmers.
Later, the DDC also released the District Ramban Linkable Credit Plan 2023-24 prepared by NABARD for a specific year containing the total credit capacity of the district in the presence of senior officers and bankers. It depends on the infrastructure provision and development plans of the district.
