Fall in 2021 to school activities in CALS – eCALS

Beginning August 29, CALS began accepting new and returning students to the campus in accommodation and other activities. The first undergraduate students CALS QuickStart is a summer program designed to help earn first-year students succeed in college. Dormitory for all UW – Madison students. It starts on August 30. The first day of class was September 8.

New CALS students will visit the Jennifer van Ose Laboratory on August 31, 2021 at the UW – Madison Department of Animal and Dairy Science. Kim Roosevelt, a PhD student at the Van Oos Animal Welfare Laboratory, shows students a thermal camera. Doing laboratory visits that day. Researchers at the Van Os Laboratory use a variety of technologies to study the behavior of animals from a biological perspective, to better understand and improve animals, especially dairy cattle.
