Events
A tour of the Will Gardens of Will Rogers 6 pm Wednesday @Will, Will Rogers Gardens, 3600 NW 36. Free. There are those who walk on grass and uneven ground, so wear sturdy hiking boots. Camp stools or other small chairs can be used if necessary. All ages are welcome.
Garden party at the park fundraiser – Friday from 5 to 8 p.m., Will Rogers Gardens, 3400 NW 36. Presented by friends of the Will Rogers Gardens Foundation. In the colorful gardens next to the concert. Bring family, lawn chairs, or blankets. Silent bidding, musicians spinning, food trucks, face painting, cartoon artist, other child-friendly activities. Drinks are available for purchase.
“Destroyed by Orchids” Show and Sale – 10am to 4pm October 2 and 10am to 3pm, Will Rogers Gardens Exhibition Center, 3400 NW 36. Presented by the Oklahoma Orchid Association. Dealers and exhibitors from many states present orchids from around the world. Get professional growing information. Raffles and Silence Bid. Admission and parking are free. Learn how to create your own floral arrangement using seasonal flowers and leaves collected from the garden. Register at myriadgardens.org.
