Jerusalem Saj (Floomis Fruticosa) is one of the most delicate and delicate plants that makes you feel comfortable when deer and rabbits are discouraged from visiting the garden. The unique yellow shape of the eye, as well as its strength and toughness, make this plant a universal winner in a solar garden.
According to a popular myth, the genus Floomis is Greek, meaning flame. This may indicate that in ancient times the leaves were used as light bulbs. The genus Fruitikosa means shrub and short, which indicates its habitual growth. The plant varies from 2-4 feet in height to 3–5 feet, so it is not overgrown in the garden. These low water, shrubs originate in the Mediterranean to East Asia and parts of the world.
Even more appealing is the fact that the flowers, which are attached to the upper half of the stem, resemble a sparrow and attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. As the flowers bloom, water well and water the dead head a little, and the wise Jerusalem will grow again once or twice. At the end of the season, prune this shrub for many years to maintain the desired shape.
Although Floomis can withstand the extreme heat in the summer, and can perform at its best in the sun and moon, it can be very shady and humid. So remember to “know before you grow” and “plant in the right place”. The stem of the flower and the dried seed head hold beautiful textures in their dry preparations, and when they dry in late summer, they feed the birds.
There are other varieties of florisis, from purple to purple, but yellow is always my choice for a border, container, cottage garden, cut or dried flower garden, double or triple. With the exception of snails, pests and diseases leave this plant alone, and isn’t that a good replacement?
