Upcoming programs in the Berkshire Botanical Garden
STOCKBRIDGE = Berkshire Plant Garden presents “Music Monday” with Wanda Houston Band On Monday, August 16, a collection of 21 “live” sculptures from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Perform a walk, take a walk, a blanket or grass chairs as you walk from Lucy Topieri’s Garden. Drinks offered by Shefield, Big El Birang, MA. Tickets for Music Monday are $ 10 for BBC members and $ 15 for non-members. Excluded reservations suggested, visit berkshirebotanical.org. Music may be rainy or rainy on Mondays, but in severe weather concerts will be canceled and refunds will be given. Friday, August 20 is Family Friday – Miracles ”, from 11 a.m. to noon. Meet us on Fitzpatrick grass as local educator Joy Marzolf introduces us to the world of reptiles. Learn more about our basketball friends and meet some interesting special guests in person. Family Friday is free at the entrance to the garden, for a total of $ 15, 14 seniors, members and children under 12.
Saturday, August 21 and Sunday, August 22, is a growth show, from 1 to 4 pm Flower designers and gardeners are famous for their annual gardening exhibition, with beautiful floral arrangements and a great summer harvest with five designs and about 80 in the exhibition hall. This improved event, which includes fruit and vegetable lessons. Free with general registration.
Springfield Garden Club “Garden City” Tour
Springfield – Saturday, August 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Springfield Garden Club will visit 6 private and 2 public gardens. This year’s collection of gardens dates back to more than forty years of romantic labor. Garden patterns range from small, shady “ornamental” gardens to large, sunny, more open gardens. There are also three public gardens in the Springfield Museums, maintained by members of the SGC and SGC and Western St. Master’s Gardeners. The tour is organized by SGC and is self-directed.
