Upcoming programs at the Berkshire Botanical Garden

STOCKBRIDGE – Berkshire Botanical Garden offers the following upcoming programs. Monday, October 31 to Wednesday, November 2, 10am to 4pm, “Giving Notes from Nature. Running over three sessions, this series will teach you how to make your own nature note cards, to capture nature’s moments with pen and ink. Follow along with botanist Carol Ann Morley to show you how to show off your natural images. This fun technique starts with tracing onto your photocopies with a micron pen. Add shading to give it depth, then bring it all to life with colored pencils and watercolors. Natural photo images are provided. You can also add your own images, words and ideas. All levels of painting experience are welcome. A list of materials will be provided. Cost is $200 members, $255 non-members; Please note that financial support is available for all BBG classes. Garden club meeting

Wilbraham – The November meeting of the Wilbraham Garden Club will be held on Monday, November 2 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Cecilia’s Parish Center on Main Street. Coffee, tea and pastries are provided. The speaker for the day will be Ellie Rhoden, an installed floral artist from Vermont. She demonstrates her technology by making each item. These pieces of art, which include note cards, bookmarks and framed art, are available for purchase.
