Participants will learn science-based garden information and practices from the North Nevada Extension Faculty and staff, and experienced gardeners. These units are also an entry point and are required for those who wish to volunteer in the Wasso County Extension Master Garden.
“This series prepares you to enroll in a master gardening training program and to become a volunteer gardener volunteer,” said Rachel McLlour, coordinator of the Wasow County Master Gardener. However, it is also a good lesson for those who are not interested in volunteering, but who need a deep understanding of the basics to take care of their own landscape.
An online layout will be held at Zoom to discuss the Home Horticulture Certification Program and the Chief Horticultural Program. An additional session is being offered and registration is required.
