About 36 km southeast of Nelson, in the Lee Valley area of the project, the photo shows that the construction of the Waimea Dam has left the reinforced concrete section.
Construction of the Waima Community Dam will begin Monday in Lee Valley, near Nelson.
According to Mike Scott, CEO of Waima Water Limited, the Ministry of Trade, Innovation and Employment has approved the resumption of work at VV-19.
“This confirmation is good news for the project,” Scott said. We are in a state of flooding during construction and we are in the midst of a flood.
Although the lower part of the reinforced concrete slab was designed to be flooded, the slab was about eight feet[8 m]higher than the reinforced concrete slab.

Mike Scott, CEO of Waimea Water Ltd, said the Waimea Dam project is at a critical stage of construction.
“It’s not designed to go overboard in a flood,” says Scott. “We are at a critical juncture in construction. We must continue to seek professional advice. ”
That risk is reduced by height and growth, “and our activities during Stage 4 are designed to reduce this risk.”
As the construction of the sewer began to improve, it was time to move another 16 miles[16 km].

“The contractor is making plans to restart Monday, in strict accordance with the Level 4 Protocol,” he said. These protocols are for Level 4 upgrades to those below Level 3 and other industries, such as the horticulture industry and packaging.

While machinery operators worked alone in their excavations or in taxis, other workers at the large station were all engaged in outdoor work.
