In my own world, naming the worst weeds is an easy choice. It’s a spinal cord injury and it’s my fault. I could not refuse because he provided some free fertilizer from a local cattle producer and he has been paying me since then. The more I fought, the stronger they became. Every pierced finger or shiny stick weed leaves a deep impression on our way of life.

These days, water farming may also be a state plant in my home state of Illinois. Like corn and sorghum, Piggads are C4 plants, very effective in carbon sequestration and adapted to high temperatures and sunlight. Should we be surprised that soy and cotton are normally grown, and can even be found higher than the ends of corn?

Promising to defeat these opponents, they quickly read the cardinal chapter given to Pigway. He wrote extensively on the biology of Palmer and water and how they did not pay special attention to modern practices, putting them on the path of “unusual weeds.”

Cardina covered the story behind eight weeds and how we got to where we are today. There is no wool among them, but it is still there. The narratives are about evolutionary biology and how plants respond to the environments in front of them.
