Food and beverage manufacturers in the county can now apply for assistance of up to 250 250,000.
Funding for R&D is growing in Kent and Midway – a collection of businesses designed to help inspire innovation and growth in the sector.
The money will successfully provide applicants with ideas for “community impact on the local economy” by promising to increase community participation in the county.
A ሚሊዮን 2million fundraiser, funded by the UK Research and Innovation Strength Program.
For those businesses in the county that want to know more, the online show will be available on Tuesday, September 14 at 11:30 a.m. for a share of the money.
Dr. Nicola Harrison, Director of Development Kent and Medway Programs, said: “These grants are an important part of our program to grow the region’s economy through environmental and innovative growth. The impact of these R&D projects will be to strengthen its reputation as a local world leader in sustainable food and beverage production.
We encourage local businesses to apply food, beverage, packaging, and agro-food technology throughout the food and beverage supply chain.
Planned projects should support their business to net-zero transition and provide improved productivity and sustainability in food and beverage production.
“The growth of Kent and Medway is growing the UK’s climate for modern food production and processing,” added David Swane, executive director of research and innovation in the UK. These new acquisitions for fruit and vegetable, food production and related technology businesses will enable Kent and Medway to drive inclusive, sustainable economic growth for the local population and move towards a sustainable, net zero future.
As well as financial support, businesses can get advice on innovation and development from specialists at the Innovation UK EDGE, part of the UK Research and Innovation Family.
Qualified businesses must have a Kent or Medway-based or significant economic activity in the region. You can participate in any vegetable and beverage sector; Technologies based on manufacturer, new product packaging, food processing or supply chain.
