Navin Chudhari started a dairy village in Jenny

REASI, Dec. 3 ፡ The Secretary General of the Department of Animal Husbandry, Sheep and Fisheries, Navin K. Chudhari, opened the E-Milk Village today at the Jerry Panchayat of Pouni Block. In addition to officers and local residents, Pouni, Pawan Sharma, a member of the District Development Council, Pouni, Reta Sharma attended the event.

The Secretary-General praised the dairy village as a major economic development. “The dairy village, with a total of 370 cows, provides financial security to local farmers,” he said.

According to Navin Chudhari, the establishment of a dairy village and its success will attract many more people to open the same rooms for greater demand.

“With the timely support and subsidy of government agencies, it has greatly helped the farmers to earn a living by establishing such innovations,” he said.

He called on dairy farmers to set up their own farming enterprises, which would change their lives for the better. The Department of Animal Husbandry has requested a 50 percent subsidy van for these farmers.

The Secretary-General urged farmers to set up a dairy factory to sell their milk and dairy products for better marketing. He called on the people to work hard to increase their milk production and increase their productivity.

He called on women farmers to take part in such activities, highlighting the potential of mushroom cultivation, horticulture, sectors and other lucrative village industries.

Director of Animal Husbandry Jammu, Dr. Sagar de Doyfode, district officials, PRI members and many locals attended the event.
