When I was asked to try out the new Lucifer Citron Lantana, my first thought was why do we need another yellow Lantana in the world. Now, six months later, I know the answer. You think you know the answer, and it’s related to butterflies. I’ll arrive in a minute.
Let’s start by looking at orange. There is a large group of gardeners who think that oranges are very beautiful. I like oranges and better. But we know that he will accept this group of gardeners once he raises his voice or turns a little neutral. It is like a soft pedal orange.

There is another big group that feels the same way about yellow. There is a reason why the school bus is yellow, it immediately notices, it attracts everyone’s attention. How do you soften the pedal yellow? A.D. In 2022, they even welcomed the first Lucy Citron Lantana. Some may call it pastel, but if you see a citron brake, this will make the nail.
The majestic citron sends yellow to the hearts of every gardener. This is Lantana, an amazing habit of 30 cm tall and wide. It grows and grows at the right pace.
I used ugster blue and the surrounding Lucycin citron and here and there Ruby Chip Budelias. Both are traditionally compact and perfectly matched in color combinations and their ability to produce a variety of pollen.
I find it very exciting to see Lucy Citron featured in a 2021 garden visit to Auburn, Alabama. They also made it to Augusta Lavender Blue Helioprop in 2022 and Trumpula Rose Gomfren for the first time. In fact, this partnership was incredible and looked like an artist-designed patio.
Luscious Citron brings the series to 11 colors. Their needs are simple, they need a lot of sun and fertile soil and well-drained soil. Certified winners have their cold-strength strengths as constant in Zone 9 and tropical and annual in Zone 8 and cold.

Lucy is growing up with Golden Gate, Citrus Mix, Royal Cosmo and Marmalade. In my Zone 8a garden, there were many cold hours during the cold winter, but there was no record cold. We will see what happens this summer. My experience says that they will be colder in the second year.
Despite all the other butterfly options, Lucy Citron was a favorite. Massive swallows, Easter tiger swallows, and spiral swallows have all eaten away at the flowers. The Little American Butterflies also made frequent visits.
As a gardener, the most important question I have for Lantana is, the flower has stopped, what can I do? Lantanas should be kept in active growth for a series of flowers. During the dry season, they are all part of the process to stimulate growth, feed, and water during the long summer.
Lucifer citron has the ability to continue flowering until the snow is compared to any other plant in the garden.
