B.Sc. It is a good three-year undergraduate degree in food science and nutrition. After this M.Sc. and choose to specialize in public health nutrition, clinical nutrition, or food science and nutrition. Later you can do MBA or apply for Ph.D. Depending on your interest and professional area. Coimbatore, Puducherry and Madras University have good colleges offering this program in South India. Career opportunities include becoming a food scientist/technologist, nutritional therapist, quality assurance manager, chef, food service/purchasing/purchasing manager, marketing manager, toxicologist, fitness trainer, food research analyst or teacher/teacher.
