Remembering the life of Diane Garrett 1956 – 2021

Salem – 65-year-old Diane Marie (Drabit) Garo, wife of Antonio Leo Garo, has been living in peace with her loving family since August 25, 2021.
Born in Wakefield, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Alvina (Nardon) Drebit. She grew up and taught in Wakefield and was a graduate of Walkfield High School.
Until her illness, Ms. Garo was employed as a gardener at the Salem Home Depot in Salem. She considered a co-worker at Bet Depot as her second family. She is highly regarded by clients and colleagues for her professionalism and commitment to work.
Loving wife, mother, sister and aunt, Diane was devoted to her family and friends. She enjoys gardening, motorcycle riding and many DIY projects. She was very good at hand. The harder the project, the better the results with Diane’s involvement. If there is a problem, she solves it and always finds the answer in times of trouble. She was confident, neutral, strong-willed and strong-willed. She truly had a heart of gold and was fully devoted to her beloved husband and daughter. She had a love for animals, a beautiful smile, and always gave the best advice, whether you asked for it or not. She deeply cares for and longs for everyone in her world.
Diane is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Salem Tony Garro. Daughter Lisa Connell and her fiancé, Harvard Matthew Dejanaro; Son of Anthony K. Garo of Lynn; Her sister, Mary Jacobson Hamps, NH; Her brother Stephen Drebit and his wife, Wakefield, Debbie; And many brothers, in-laws, sisters, nieces, nephews and relatives and friends.
