The Anis Campus will be offering several courses this September

It’s time of year again when Limerick and Claire’s Education and Training Board invites you to #FindTheBestInYou and chooses an additional course of study to help you do that.

With this in mind, the College Anise and Training College Anis Campus has collected some great gifts this fall, enabling you to expand your options and develop the skills you need for your future career.

The 25-year-old campus is located in the Clonoid Business Park near Claus Road in Anis, offering a variety of appropriate and new supplementary education and training courses for students, local communities and organizations in Clare.

Thanks to continuous expansion and renewal, students in the college can make excellent use of their full-time, flexible, part-time resources as they begin their careers.

The courses offered are suitable for unemployed elementary school students, returnee adults, and those who are working or preparing for a new environment. Courses range from additional certification to QQI Level 6 major awards for further study development, a variety of careers and social engagement.

This fall full-day courses will continue in the popular business areas, general studies, tourism, health and child care and the arts, crafts and design. The campus responded to questions from the community by adding two new courses in STEM and music areas, which will be very popular with students.

This fall, part-time and evening courses include certification, business management, office and medical administration, health care, crafts, return to work, finance, beauty care and cooking.

There are also classes in Family Education, English for speakers of other languages, exploring family history, gardening for beginners, information technology, safe passage, sports, recreation and exercise and much more.

The college also provides an amazing free information and guidance support service for all students. This service is a very important resource that will give you detailed information on the lessons you need in one-on-one and group instruction sessions. This will help you explore your options and plan your future with money, grants and other support. Other excellent services include core skills support, supported assignments and our modern access learning center.

The courses take place in a variety of state-of-the-art science labs, a training kitchen, a hairdressing salon, a beauty salon and a technology department and a new set of computers.

As one of the Authority’s largest supply centers in the region, the Anis Campus has helped thousands of adult students develop their skills over the past 25 years.
