The opening day of Avery County Horticulture & AgriculturalFair Wednesday (September 8) was a resounding success and one of the greatest in its 30-year history.

Thanks to the cooperation of Avery County and community volunteers, this year’s Averry HH will run from Wednesday, September 8 to Saturday, September 11. The 28-year-old Ariye County Agricultural and Vegetation Fair is one of the most popular festivals and celebrations in the North Carolina Mountains. Gates will open at the 2021 Avery A&H Fair on Wednesday (September 8) at 5:00 p.m. Thursday (September 9); And Friday (September 10). It will open on Saturday (September 11) at 11:00 p.m. Recreation trips will be open Wednesday through Friday from 5 p.m. On Saturdays, trips start at 12:00 a.m. and close until 11:00 p.m.
