Sirinagar, September 11 (PTI) The state government is committed to developing and improving the overall landscape of Jammu and Kashmir to boost the tourism sector in the Union Territory, State Minister for Defense and Tourism Aji Bahat said on Saturday.
He said the union government is part of the Jammu and Kashmir public relations program and had detailed interactions with Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department officials here at the Royal Spring Golf Course.
Baht also met with various stakeholders related to the Union’s tourism sector.
A detailed briefing was provided by Sarmad Hafiz, Director of Tourism at JK Tourism, Kashmir Gullam Nabi Itu and other officials of the department, the spokesperson said.
Bahat outlined the infrastructure and measures in place, as well as what is available.
He reiterated his commitment to enhance the tourism landscape of the Union State.
During the meeting, Bach said the government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is working to ensure the overall development of the region and ensure that Jammu and Kashmir are not protected.
He said border tourism, eco-tourism and horticulture will be given priority in the state.
The Minister held an interactive meeting with stakeholders related to the tourism sector of YouTube. Travel and tour operators and hotel representatives were present during the meeting.
During the meeting, Bahat reaffirmed the union government’s support for the region’s various challenges and challenges.
He said all measures are being taken to boost the tourism sector.
