He continued:This land was under brick kilns and we approached the farmers. We helped them with up to 50 percent subsidies. The harvest was worth more than what you could get. And now thousands of stoves have changed”.
After the farmer converted the land into an orchard, each canal is now earning approximately one liter rupee. This encourages others to get started in the region Planting apples.
Gullam Ahmed Pal, farmer, “Thanks to all this, the fruit and vegetable development department. The director and the chief of staff helped us. We had no apples in the area, so they came to us and told us about it. They gave us the plant and the infrastructure with a 50 percent subsidy. They help us by cutting and slicing. I am happy to take it to the farm after retirement”.
