The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNA), comprising 14 electoral bodies and 268 affiliated colleges, is set to begin its undergraduate process for 2021-22. Online registration for TNAU UG Introduction 2021-22 will begin on Line 08, 2021. Eligible candidates can apply through tnauonline.in or tnau.ac.in. Starting this year, both the College of Agriculture and the Institute of Research and the College of Vegetables and Research will offer programs based in Coimbatore in Tamil.
According to the Tamil Nadu government, the university has added a list of colleges as part of the TNU. Below this are Jeenur College of Vegetation and Fruit College and three newly established Agricultural Colleges in Karur, Kezeville and Chetinad.
They offer a variety of programs in agricultural science and technology. These include B.Sc Hons programs in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Agriculture, Food, Nutrition and Nutrition and Agricultural Business Management. The University also offers B.tech programs in Agricultural Engineering, Food Technology, Biotechnology and Energy and Environmental Engineering.
Candidates must pass 10 + 2 from a recognized board to be eligible for the courses available. Admission is only available to candidates who are members of the Tamil Nadu State. However, those who attended 10th, 11th and 12th grade in the region are also eligible. Such candidates must provide proof that they have studied in the 10th, 11th and 12th grades of Tamil Nadu.
Only online applications are enjoyed at the university. Interested candidates can apply online at tnauonline.in or visit the TNAU website tnau.ac.in. Online application is a two-step process. After you are registered as a user on the TNAU website, you will be given a login ID and password that will be used throughout the login process. Candidates must keep a digital copy of their 10th and 12th grades along with a transfer certificate (TC) and a community / birth certificate as needed.
Application fees for the proposed cast and ST candidates are 300 Rebels and for the total, other Rebels (OBC) and Economic Sector (ECS) 600 Rebels.
Note that candidates will be given limited attempts to clear the proficiency test by entering these courses. Candidates from scheduled parties and ethnic groups have a maximum of three attempts and the remaining two are major attempts to enter the TNAU.
