Born and raised in Ginsville, Florida, Stevens has lived in and around St. Augustine for the past 21 years. He most recently served as director of agronomical programs for the Indigo Golf Partners, which oversees golf course maintenance, capital planning, renovation and human resource development in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Louisiana and Texas. From 2007 to 2010, he served as St. Augustine’s Superintendent of St. John’s Golf and National Club, and participated in private club building and daily agricultural research.
