What: Before packing fresh vegetables and fruits from your vegetable or local market, do a bag pressure test. The Extension Office hosts a one-day drive-test.

56th Annual Horticultural Exhibition

When – August 28 and 29

What: In the Great Yangston Gardens (formerly Yangston Men’s Garden Club), this is the largest garden display in the Manging Valley. Bring flowers and vegetables to learn more about gardening and to view entries.

Where: Friends Riverside Gardens, Millie Creek Metro Park, Youngstown.

Price – Free, open to all exhibitions. Ribbon and cash prizes.
