According to the Home Office, cannabis is illegal to grow, grow, distribute or sell in the UK.

Cannabis seizures carry a maximum of five years’ imprisonment, unlimited fines, or both.

Punishment for the user depends on many different factors, how much cannabis they have consumed and if they have had it before.

If it is used for personal gain, the police may issue a warning or a fine on the spot to a person who is being held in small quantities – generally less than one ounce.

Campaigners can enhance the health benefits of cannabis, but only in moderation.

It has been shown to reduce symptoms in patients suffering from chronic pain and seizures.

Specialists have been ordering cannabis oil since November 1, 2019.

Cannabis is illegal and a Class B drug. The maximum penalty for possession of cannabis is five years’ imprisonment.

your sincerely,

PC 2892 Paul Davis.
