During the visit, the Union Minister for Rural Development, Griiraj Singh, said that the role of women in rural economic development is very important and only women can accelerate it.

The Union’s Minister of Rural Development visited various development programs implemented in regional and central government projects in Sepahijala Woreda. He visited lime, guava and mango gardens in Gakulnagar Gram Panchayat subdivision of Bishalgah sub-division and spoke with forest officials. Work is underway for a national highway beautification program.

The Minister then toured the dragon fruit plantation established by the Department of Fruit and Conservation and Protection with the National Highway in the woreda.

The Union’s Minister of Rural Development also visited the East Gugargar Boundary Development Project in the woreda and the East Gokulgar Community Eco Park. This park He thanked the forest department officials for visiting the eco park built by the forest department.
